SAWYER, Mich. (WNDU) - Wine fans have an event they surely won’t want to miss on Saturday.
It’s the 13th annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Fest, and it’s being held at Warren Dunes State Park.
The festival starts at 1pm and goes until 9:30pm
Five local food trucks will be on site, as well as live music.
Festival goers will get the chance to sample any of the 20 wineries at the event.
“You get to see what some of the different wineries are doing,” said Cogdal Vineyards owner Jack Murdoch “I’d be amazed if you couldn’t find something you like”
Tickets purchased in advance cost $10, and $15 at the event. Kids 12 and under get in for free.
In addition to the entrance fee, tickets will have to be purchased in order to sample wine. Those can be purchased at the event.
There is also a cost to park at Warren Dunes State Park, and prices for that vary.
