Riley High School wins Friday Night Football Pep Rally

With 55 percent of the vote, Riley High School won our next Friday Night Football Pep Rally.

This means we'll be live at South Bend on 16 Morning News this Friday. At the pep rally, students can showcase all the great things about their school.

We'll also be back live Friday night right before the lights go on as we preview the matchup with Jimtown.

Clay hosting Howe came in second 45-percent of the votes.

NewsCenter 16 has a new and exciting way for you to celebrate your school, team and fans: the Friday Night Football Pep Rally – Presented by Monteith's Best-One Tire & Auto Care.

Every week we’ll pick three upcoming Friday Night Football matchups from around Michiana, and then you get to make the final call on who will be our featured matchup and host a pep rally the next week.

Here are the matchups for Sept. 28:
- Riley hosting Jimtown
- Clay hosting Howe

That Friday, we’ll be live on 16 Morning News starting at 6 a.m. at the winner’s home turf for the Friday Night Football Pep Rally. It’s their chance to showcase all the great things about their school!

That’s not all. We'll be back live at the winning school that Friday night right before the lights go on. We’ll preview the matchup from 5-6:30 p.m.

To top it all off, NewsCenter 16 will shine the spotlight on your game during Friday Night Football at 11 p.m.
