Vigil to be held for 8-year-old Warsaw boy killed in crash

WARSAW, Ind. (WNDU) - A vigil will be held Thursday night in memory of a Warsaw boy who was struck and killed by a car.

Gidieon Cook died on Monday. The eight-year-old and his two sisters were on their way home from summer school.

The candlelight vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. outside of Harrison Elementary school.

The driver who hit Gideon is cooperating with police and has yet to be charged.
