Vehicle crashes into building near Mishawaka intersection

A medical event may have caused a Mishawaka crash that ended with a car going into the side of a business.

It happened shortly after noon on Wednesday.

Both vehicles were southbound on Main Street when they collided near Colfax Avenue.

The car hit North Main Dentistry, pushing in the side of the building. The driver was in stable conduction, but the passenger was critical. Both were taken to a local hospital.

The other vehicle hit a pole but was only slightly damaged.

Traffic was diverted as emergency responders worked at the scene.
