Trial begins for woman accused of lying about murderer's location

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The trial is now underway for a woman accused of lying about a murder suspect's location.

Police say Takisha Jacobs lied about the whereabouts of Rahim Brumfield after he shot and killed Tysiona Crawford in South Bend in 2018.

Brumfield was sentenced to 60 years in prison for Crawford's murder.

Witnesses and jury instructions were proposed Monday afternoon. The trial continues Tuesday morning.
