Todd Rundgren will be visiting Notre Dame to perform for the second time in September.

On Thursday, the university announced that he will be performing at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center Presenting Series on Friday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m.

Notre Dame student musicians and singers will have an opportunity to be part of the "Todd Rundgren's Play Like a Champion Today Concert: Students Play the '80s."

Rundgren and his Spirit of Harmony foundation previously visited the campus from Sept. 22-Oct. 1 in 2016 as an Artist in Residence hosted by the Notre Dame Film, Television, and Theatre.

The Spirit of Harmony was founded in 2013 for the moral imperative of music education and music performance for youth, beginning at the earliest age possible, offered in schools or after-schools programs. The foundation makes partnerships with music programs nationally to engage support and music fans to be involved with music education.
