South Bend, Ind. (WNDU) - The Spring Fling at the South Bend Farmer's Market kicked off Saturday.
People of all ages had the opportunity to join in on some unique activities for Easter weekend such as Ukrainian egg coloring demonstrations, an Easter egg hunt, bunnies, and chicks.
Owner of Micro Mini Farm, Christina Baul, says the most thing she enjoyed seeing was the smile on all the kids' faces.
"Kids that don't have any contact with animals can get that experience. It's something new for them and it's fun for us to see the joy on the little kids faces," Baul said.
Baul says she hopes to make her Micro Mini Farm more mobile, especially when it gives a chance for kids to hold a bunny on Easter weekend.
