We have a Winter Storm Warning for Berrien/Cass counties and a Winter Weather Advisory for most other counties in Michiana, begins 2am Monday and continues through 7am Tuesday (Pulaski and Fulton counties are not included). Snowfall will be heavy at times, along with blowing snow, across the area as a clipper works its way through. We are on the warmer side for Monday as this system rides along a warm front, but a cold front follows behind and that will begin to drop our temps. On Tuesday, however, Arctic cold air arrives behind a much stronger cold front. That will drop our temps throughout the day on Tuesday. Waking up Wednesday morning, temps will be about -16 degrees and only rise to -10 degrees, which will break a record high temps (6 degrees, 2004). Even colder for Thursday morning as temps will be around -19 degrees, feeling as cold as -45 degrees! Warmer air returns next weekend.
