800 Forest River RVs piled into the lawn of the Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds on Sunday for day one of the Forest River Owners Group (FROG) Rally.

The rally is a six day event running from Sunday until Saturday, which gives owners the chance to meet up with other enthusiasts who share their love and appreciation for the lifestyle.

Over the course of six days, the group will be exploring the area around Goshen and keep up the adventurous spirit which comes with owning an RV.

"Our son kids us," FROG Director Bob Byrne said. "He says, 'You don't go camping. You go park in the woods somewhere!' For a lot of us, the RV is home, but we still like to get out and enjoy the outdoors."

Byrne says the event is just a way to thank the Forest River owners. If they have any issues with their RVs while they're at the event, they can be fixed free of charge for labor and materials.
