Police looking for suspect in Benton Township home invasion

Benton Township police are looking for the suspect in a home invasion.
According to our reporting partners at
, it happened Wednesday afternoon in the 1300 block of Whispering Trail.
At about 2:15 p.m., the resident says he was sitting in the living room when the suspect came out of the basement with a gun and demanded money.
The resident told police he was held there for "a lengthy period of time" before the suspect left with money, a cell phone, tablet and bottle of liquor.
