Police investigating deadly early morning Berrien Co. motorcycle crash

BARODA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WNDU) – A 31-year-old motorcyclist is dead after a crash between a delivery truck and a motorcycle in Baroda Township early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 5:57 a.m. at the intersection of Stevensville-Baroda Road and Linco Road, according to a release from the Baroda-Lake Township Police Department.

The delivery truck driver, a 27-year-old man from North Liberty, reportedly came to a stop at the stop sign on Linco Road but did not see the northbound motorcycle, which did not have a stop sign.

The motorcyclist, a man from Berrien Springs, was pronounced dead at the scene. The delivery driver was not hurt.

Police have not identified either party.
