A man has been arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat Thursday morning at Benton Harbor-St. Joseph YMCA.

Mario Cummings, 48, of Benton Harbor, is charged with making a false report of terrorism.

Police say he called the YMCA just after 7 a.m. and said he placed a bomb in the building, which resulted in evacuation and first responders, including a K-9 team, searching for the bomb, which was never found.

Cummings, a YMCA employee, confessed to making the call, police said in a release issued Thursday afternoon.
