WARSAW, Ind. (WNDU) - Police amped up their presence in school zones Tuesday as Warsaw students returned to school.

School officials say 25 traffic stops were made by police within school zones throughout the first day of school, according to our reporting partners at News Now Warsaw.

Officials are asking drivers to slow down within the zones and obey traffic laws. They are also asking motorists to do the same near school bus stops.
