UPDATE: Autopsy confirms homicide by gunshot in South Bend shooting

A Saturday morning autopsy confirmed D'Angelo Jennings, the victim in Thursday night's deadly shooting, died from a gunshot wound. A forensic pathologist also ruled the manner of death as homicide.
A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 17-year-old in South Bend.
Shortly after 10 p.m., South Bend police were called to the 1800 block of North Johnson Street in response to a shooting.
They found 17-year-old D’Angelo Jennings in the home, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
He died at the scene.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit (CMHU) was called out to handle the investigation. They interviewed several people and say they will continue to investigate.
On Friday evening, the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office announced that 18-year-old Torreay Jordan Fennessee had been arrested and booked into the St. Joseph County Jail on preliminary suspicion of manslaughter.
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday morning.
