Benton Harbor, Mich — The Senior PGA Championship at Harbor Shores is once again sponsored by KitchenAid and this year they're making food a focal point.

In addition to watching the athletes compete for the Alfred S. Bourne trophy, fans can get a taste of culinary excellence inside the KitchenAid Fairway Club.

Celebrity chefs Geoffrey Zakarian, Carla Hall, Gabriele Corcos and Debi Mazar will make appearances and whip up meals for guests throughout the championship.

The fairway club can be found next to the first tee. It boasts a full-size kitchen with appliances for guests to try out.

“They’re all set up ready to go and we have people here to help so if you’re thinking ‘maybe I want a food processor, but I’m not really sure you can come in here and see how to use it,” says Deb O’Connor, the Director of Global Partnerships for KitchenAid.

Just outside the ninth hole, local business are parking their food trucks and serving up meals on the green. Lark’s Bar-B-Que and Baja Gringo Tacos will serve guests for the duration of the championship.

Willie Lark is the owner of Lark's Bar-B-Que and he says it’s the love in his food that’s been keeping his Benton Harbor business going for the last 20 years.

There you'll find a range of side and smoked meats slathered in their sweet and spicy barbecue sauce.

“I want to them to walk away thinking that they have a wow experience with the barbecue,” says Lark.

Meals range from $10 - $25 and Lark says they'll be serving dinner up until around 7:30. p.m.
