UPDATE: Victims identified in deadly shooting near Corby's Pub

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - One person is dead and two others are injured after a shooting, near Corby's Irish Pub.

South Bend police responded to reports of shots fired in the 300 block of North Niles Avenue at 3:30 Sunday morning.

When they arrived, they found one person dead. That man has been identified as 32-year-old Christopher Chism.

Officers then saw a vehicle driving erratically on Niles Avenue. During a traffic stop, they found another gunshot victim in the vehicle.

A third victim called 911 to report being shot.

Both men have been identified as 26-year-old Jamere Forrest and 25-year-old Jarell Seuell.

(Police initially reported Seuell was 19 years old. They corrected his age Monday afternoon.)

As of Sunday, Seuell remained in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An autopsy completed Monday for Chism revealed he died from a gunshot wound, and his manner of death was determined to be a homicide.

St. Joseph County Metro Homicide is investigating, and say a dark colored sedan with oversized, aftermarket rims may have left the area just after the shooting.
