One juvenile injured in South Bend shooting

One female juvenile is recovering after being shot in the leg Sunday morning. Police say it happened a little after 1 a.m. in the 2100 block of Roger Street.

The victim told police she was denied access into a party and started walking away. Eventually down the road she was confronted by four people.

Police say a total of 11 rounds came through the Shot Spotter. They say it looks like two different guns were used. Luckily, only one of those rounds hit her in the leg.

An officer on scene actually picked up the juvenile and brought her to the ambulance.

She was then taken to the hospital.

Police say there are no suspects at this time and no arrests have been made.
