Niles graduates visit elementary schools to remember, inspire

Wednesday offered Niles High School and Niles New Tech Entrepreneurial Academy seniors a victory lap down memory lane.

Students got to walk the halls of their old elementary schools while wearing their graduation caps and gowns.

It serves as a way to celebrate their time they've put in and revisit old memories.

It also gives a little bit of inspiration to the younger students, with the message that, they too, can do this.

"My hope is that they realize that it takes a lot of hard work to get to this point and that they continue to focus every year that they're in school to work hard to get to that final end product of graduation," Northside Child Development Center Principal David Eichenburg said.

The graduates visited five different schools to make sure everyone got to have their victory
