N. Indiana postal carrier accused of stealing painkillers

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) A northern Indiana postal carrier is criminally accused of opening packages instead of delivering them.

When Leroy Worsham found prescription painkillers, he allegedly stole them.

That's according to a proposed plea agreement in the case that will be heard in federal court in South Bend on Monday.

Worsham faces a maximum possible punishment of five years behind bars.
