Snow returned to Michiana today, and while it hasn't amounted to a lot, it definitely brought slick conditions across the area. More messy weather is on the way for Monday, mainly late in the day and Monday night as snow and ice will move in. Southern areas will see more rain than anything else, but north of US 6, and especially north of the Toll Rd. there could be a more prolonged period of freezing rain Monday night, which could mean messy conditions for your Tuesday morning commute. Most of us will see it change over to all rain closer to daybreak, but ice may linger a bit longer in SW Michigan. It's a fine line, and the track of the storm will determine where and how long ice will last. Meteorologist Cindi Clawson has the details in her Sunday evening forecast.
