SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Police are looking for a suspect who shot a clerk during an armed robbery at a food mart in South Bend.

It happened at the corner of Kemble Avenue and Dubail Street around 9 a.m. Sunday morning.

The male victim suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.

Police say no one is in custody.

"It's a little scary, I mean, because they haven't caught [the suspect] yet. I don't know if it's somebody from this neighborhood, why [the suspect] would pick a store like that if [the suspect] wasn't from around here," said a neighbor, who described the area as fairly quiet.
