SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) South Bend police are investigating after a man was dropped off at the emergency room with four gunshot wounds to his legs.
Officers were dispatched to the hospital around 6:50 p.m. Thursday.
The 28-year-old gunshot victim had been dropped off by an unknown female who was driving a silver GMC Envoy with a Michigan license plate. She had left by the time police arrived.
The man's injuries are described as not life-threatening.
Police are still trying to determine the events that led up to the shooting, including where it occurred.
This case remains under investigation by the South Bend Police Investigative Bureau. Detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward and contact police at 574-235-9201 or Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
