SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - A man who was found guilty of threatening police officers was sentenced to time served Tuesday.
Robin Peppers was found guilty of intimidation on Jan. 16 after posting multiple YouTube videos in July 2018.
The prosecution and defense on Tuesday argued whether Peppers' conviction should be entered as a Level 6 felony or misdemeanor. After hearing the arguments, the judge settled on the conviction as a Class A misdemeanor, and Peppers was sentenced to time served.
In the offending videos, Peppers talked about how he was homeless and slept outside the Mishawaka Police Department. He also called officers incompetent.
Police say he targeted a specific officer.
