We're just over two weeks away from the Kosciusko County Fair, but a lawsuit is putting the brakes on motorsports at the fairgrounds.
Our reporting partners at Goshen News say homeowners along Winona Lake have sued to stop the events, saying the noise is a nuisance.
The lawsuit has been bouncing around the county's courts since the dispute began in May.
It claims races held in late April violated agreements set back in 1990, which were part of a legal settlement to end motorized racing at the track.
The fair board has since canceled drag races, which were scheduled to be held during the fair.
The fair runs from July 8th to the 14th.
