It won't be long before it's finals for college students, and Indiana University South Bend wants to make that time as stress-free as possible.

Wednesday afternoon, they put on a festival so students could have a great time, playing games like mini golf and archery tag. Volunteers also handed out free food and T-shirts to people who stopped by.

It was all part of IU Day, a day focused on celebrating Hoosier nation and all things that make it great.

"Finals will get you down," said Zach Snider, who plays the Titans' mascot. "If you just have to stare at a laptop or read a book for hours on end, it can get you down. So, this is a chance to get out, hear some music, get some free food – which every college student desperately needs. And it's just a chance to have some fun."

Hundreds of IU Day celebrations took place across six continents.
