Hearing Monday in South Bend Police tapes case

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Another hearing in the South Bend police tapes saga will take place Monday.

The mayor's office has refused to disclose the tapes, alleging they were recorded illegally. A hearing in the case was cancelled last month.

The attorney for the officers whose calls were recorded wants to end the proceedings, and keep the tapes secret. If a judge denies the motion, the case could go to trial.

Monday's hearing is at 2 p.m.
