Former Mishawaka PTA president accused of felony theft turns herself in

MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - A former Mishawaka PTA Council president accused of felony theft has turned herself in to authorities.

It's alleged that 42-year-old Chasity Edmonson embezzled more than $20,000 while on the job.

Court documents indicate she has since repaid some $11,000.

Edmonson was released on her own recognizance and faces arraignment in court Aug. 28.
