The FAA is reviewing to determine if separation standards were violated during the flyover that occurred over Notre Dame Stadium prior to the Notre Dame-Michigan football game.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on September 1st, a Cessna Citation aircraft was on final descent into South Bend International Airport when a flight of four F-15s came in for a flyover during the Notre Dame game.
The review involves reviewing data to determine the exact distance between the aircraft.
These reviews can take several weeks to complete.
