Elkhart police officer pleads guilty to breaking into estranged wife's home

GOSHEN, Ind. (WNDU) - An Elkhart police officer has pleaded guilty to breaking into his estranged wife's home.

Scott Hupp is charged with a felony for residential entry and two misdemeanors.

Hupp's stepdaughter says she woke up in her mother's living room and found Hupp standing outside, reaching his arm through a window.

He's scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 22.
