Students continued their One Dime at a Time campaign at Concord High School Friday, holding a food drive for their neighbors in need.

An organization called Student Hunger Drive of Northern Indiana launched the campaign in 2015 to raise money for area pantries and awareness about food insecurity in Elkhart County.

Originally held in the fall, organizers realized pantries' biggest time of need is actually right now, after the holidays and before the Stamp Out Hunger Drive.

Each year, a celebration is held at the Kroc Center in South Bend for all area schools that participated, and the organization's goal is to get more schools involved each year.
