ST. JOSEPH, Mich. (WNDU) --- A Coloma woman pleads no contest in connection to a deadly crash on Interstate 94 in Benton Township last September.

Amber Garton, 33, pleaded no contest to operating while intoxicated causing death, according to our reporting partners at The Herald-Palladium.

Officials say Garton was driving 111 mph when she hit a van, killing a woman inside. Police say she failed field sobriety and preliminary breath tests on scene.

Her alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

Garton's sentencing is set for July 8.
