SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Do you want to be a part of the Michiana’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration? Then you'll want to be in downtown South Bend this weekend.
It all starts Friday night with the annual Paddy Party and Pub Tour.
For the first time, the party is happening at Four Winds Field. There will be four bands, VIP areas and plenty of delicious food.
The fun continues throughout the city with the Pub Tour. Free Transpo shuttles will be available to take you to the 20 participating pubs.
"We're so close to Notre Dame, so we're really heavily into the Irish Traditions,” said DTSB Events Coordinator Kylie Carter. “This is the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the region."
Festivities continue Saturday with the annual parade that will hit the streets of downtown South Bend starting at 11 a.m.
Per tradition, the East Race will be dyed green immediately following the parade.
