BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - A Berrien County man is $500,000 richer, thanks to a scratch-off ticket.
Winning the half-million-dollar ticket brought him to tears, according to the Michigan Lottery's website.
The 62-year-old, who wanted to remain anonymous, said he scratched the ticket off in his kitchen. When he counted all '7' symbols, he "started crying like a baby and couldn't stop."
If you're feeling lucky, the ticket was bought at the Meijer store on Pipestone Road in Benton Harbor.
The lucky man says he plans to use his winnings to pay bills and remodel his home.
