Benton Harbor Area Schools holding town hall to discuss issues

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Benton Harbor Area Schools will hold a town hall April 3 for residents to hear more about the current issues the district is facing.

According to our news partners at WSJM, the board of education scheduled the meeting and it will be at 6 p.m. in the Benton Harbor High School cafeteria.

Topics will likely include the district's declining enrollment and the lack of high school students on track to graduate.

Benton Harbor Schools' agreement with the state is also set to end July 1, giving control of the district back to the board of education.
