A heroic Noblesville middle school teacher was shot three times while taking down a gunman in his classroom last week, and more than $97,000 has been raised for him through various fundraisers.

The Noblesville High School Athletic Department is selling #NOBStrong T-shirts, and the proceeds will be given to 29-year-old Jason Seaman and to 13-year-old Ella Whistler, a student who was critically injured in the shooting

The shirt references the number 91, which was Seaman's college football number. It also includes a reference to Whistler's show choir,

High school senior Jackson Ramey started a GoFundMe page for Seaman, and it has already raised almost $100,000.

Ramey first heard about the shooting through his girlfriend, whose sister was in one of Seaman's classes.

Seaman and Ramey met for the first time Monday night when Noblesville High School's baseball team played in the sectional championship.
