3 suspects arrested in connection with Monday night South Bend shooting

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Three people have been charged in connection with a Monday night shooting in South Bend.

Seventeen-year-old Jeremiah Ware and 16-year-old Tyreik Williams both face charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery. Meanwhile, 24-year-old Symone Berry has been charged with assisting a criminal.

The shooting happened in the 600 block of North Cushing. When police arrived, they found a 24-year-old woman suffering from a serious gunshot wound to the chest.

An argument broke out at the home before shots were fired, according to police.

The woman is now in stable condition at the hospital.
