23-year-old woman missing from St. Joseph County, Michigan

Brittany Nichole Shank

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) Police are searching for Brittany Nichole Shank, a missing 23-year-old woman who was last seen in St. Joseph County, Michigan.

Shank is described as about 5 feet, 1 inch tall and 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen on Nov. 30 in the 33000 block of Fawn River Road. She was seen with a white male described as 5'6"-5'8" with short blond hair and mutton chop-style sideburns. He's believed to be in his early to mid 20s.

Police discovered Shank's car, which was damaged from a crash. But she was nowhere to be found.

Now, her mother is holding out hope. She said Shank had a warrant out for her arrest, but the mother insists she did not run away from her legal troubles.

"Everybody knew it, the family all knew it," said Shank's mother, Jessica Rolphe. "Nobody was going to say anything. That wasn't, I don't believe, at all that was the case.

"Please get your butt home safe and sound. We miss you, we love you and we just need you home."

Police initially distributed information about Shank back in early December.
