The officer pursued them and was able to place three of them under arrest. The fourth suspect allegedly fled across Indiana 933.

A 19-year-old and 18-year-old were booked in St. Joseph County Jail.

Derrick Lane, 19, is being held on preliminary charges of auto theft, resisting police and possession of marijuana.

Ronnie Hill, 18, has been booked on preliminary charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting law enforcement and possession of a handgun without a license.

Police say a juvenile also was arrested, but that person has not been identified.
