Parents still buying real books for children

Even though a lot of parents are hooked on e-readers, tablets and other electronics, many still want their young children to use books.

They want their kids to experience physically turning pages as they learn to read, and identify shapes and colors.

Parents also say they enjoy cuddling with their children and a book, and worry an e-reader or tablet may get all the attention.

And while digital books are growing at a faster rate than publishers expected, sales of e-book titles for children under 8-years old have virtually remained unchanged.
