Eastlake Terrace becomes Brentwood at Elkhart Assisted Living
ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU) - Formerly known at Eastlake Terrace, Brentwood at Elkhart Assisted Living and The Greater Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to celebrate it’s rebranding.
The Senior Living Community gave the honor of cutting the ribbon to Stanley Warner, Brentwood at Elkhart Assisted living’s longest residing resident.
Warner, an Elkhart native, World War II Veteran, and former ophthalmologist, turns 99-years-old next week, making the honor even more special.
According to the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, the idea for the name change was to create more of a connection within the local community and with its sister community, Brentwood at Elkhart Independent Living.
“It allows them to understand our culture and our environments because we’re owned by the same company. Meaning they can go to the Independent Living and participate in our ‘Elevate Dining Program’ and our ‘Vibrant Life’ activities, and then come down to our Assisted Living, and it’s the same exact programs,” said Stephanie Maupin, the Executive Director at Brentwood at Elkhart Assisted Living.
