St. Patrick’s Parade in downtown South Bend rescheduled due to weather forecast

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - This weekend’s St. Patrick’s Parade in downtown South Bend has been rescheduled due to the forecasted freezing temps, snow, and wind.
The parade will now be held the following weekend on Saturday, March 19. The parade will feature floats and performances that will travel down East Jefferson Boulevard and finish at Washington Street.
It will start at 11:00 a.m.
However, Saint Patrick Parish in South Bend will still have its annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival this Saturday. It’s taking place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the gym. There will be traditional Irish food and live music.
