LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - Police say a man is posing as a utility worker and possibly stealing money in LaPorte County.
On Tuesday, police were called to a residence in Johnson Township for suspicious activity.
A man in his 40′s was dressed as a utility worker and told the homeowner he’d be doing work in the area.
After he left, the homeowner discovered a large sum of money missing.
The local utility company was contacted and said they haven’t sent anyone to talk to customers.
