Man sentenced life without parole for torture, murder of Whitley County woman

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - A man accused of torturing and killing a Whitley County woman was sentenced Thursday morning.

31-year-old Kimberly Dyer was killed in a home on Old Orchard Lane in Elkhart back in October of 2019.

Donald Owen, Jr. and Mario Angulo, Jr. have been found guilty of murder, robbery and criminal confinement.

Owen was sentenced to life without parole.

Matthew Murzynski was sentenced last week to 60 years in prison in the case.

Angulo faces sentencing later this month.
