LAKEVILLE, Ind. (WNDU) - A Fourth of July fundraiser to benefit the annual Newton Park Fireworks Celebration in Lakeville is going on now.

Newton Park wants to fill their soccer field with 2,021 American flags.

Flags are $4 apiece.

With every flag you buy, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a VIP parking pass for the Fourth of July celebration.

This also includes the concert for cook and bell, which is a cover band.

“Our goal is to raise $10,000, and all proceeds from our Flag the Field fundraiser go toward covering the cost of this tradition in our community,” says Kim Mishler, Director of Marketing for Newton Park.

You can buy a flag at one of Newton Park’s concession stands or by heading to their website, newtonpark.org.

The fundraiser goes until June 30.
