SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - One couple is traveling the country with their dog Nash to spread the joy that only a dog can bring.

Sean and Christina Conlon stopped at A Rosie Place for Children to meet with some special youngsters.

The couple started their journey in Houston, Texas and will head up towards Michigan after this stop.

Nash is a trained therapy dog, and the couple says seeing the joy Nash brings makes the whole trip worth it.

“Dogs are dogs, you know. And no matter what kind of dog or how old they are they just bring a smile to your face,” says Sean Conlon.

“A lot of them don’t get to see dogs. it just kind of calms them, makes them feel comfortable and secure. and its fun for them,” says Michaeleen Conlee administrator at A Rosie Place.

You can follow Nash’s cross-country trip on Instagram and Youtube at “Daily Barker.”
