Indiana to receive more coronavirus vaccines

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - We have some exciting news to share with Hoosiers today: more COVID-19 vaccines are on the way!
Indiana has received 1.3 million doses so far and as of today, 834,000 Hoosiers have received their first dose of the vaccine.
But vaccine eligibility is not expanding just yet, staying at Hoosiers age 65 and up, as well as frontline healthcare workers.
As more vaccines become available, the group will become eligible, which are Hoosiers age 60 and up will be eligible.
Indiana continues to move in the right direction.
We’re seeing a decline in positivity rate, hospitalizations and more counties are moving into blue on the state’s metrics map.
