GALIEN, Mich. (WNDU) - Michiana is getting in the Christmas spirit! Local Christmas tree farms are preparing for the busiest weekend of the year amid the pandemic.

Pinecrest Tree Farm in Galien, Michigan, has spent the last few months preparing to welcome visitors during these challenging times.

“We were on pins and needles waiting to see if we could open,” said owner Kris Goodenough.

Guests must socially distance and wear a face mask while enjoying the shop and riding the wagon.

They are still able to get their hot chocolate and enjoy the many fun parts of visiting Pinecrest Tree Farm!

“We still want people to have fun,” Goodenough said.

Guests are able to pick out trees from their you-pick fields or utilize curbside pickup.
