Toyota Motor says its global production disrupted by last month's earthquake and tsunami is expected to return to normal by November or December.
The twin disasters that hit northeastern Japan damaged numerous parts makers, causing production slowdowns at Japanese and global auto companies.
President Akio Toyoda issued a statment today, saying, "To all the customers who made the decision to buy a vehicle by us, I sincerely apologize for the enormous delay in delivery."
