The National Weather Service has confirmed three tornadoes touched down during early morning storms in Indiana.
The weather service says a small tornado with winds of 100 mph touched down for about a half-mile near Ingalls, about 22 miles northeast of Indianapolis. It damaged two homes and barns and a trailer early Monday morning. A similar storm touched down near Utica, near the Kentucky border.
The weather service also says a tornado with 120 mph winds touched down in Celestine in southern Indiana's Dubois County.
Officials say two homes had their roofs blown off and a double-wide mobile home was severely damaged by that tornado. The county sheriff's department says a few people received minor injuries in the storm and at least one person was sent to the hospital.
