Plow drivers have been working all day, just focusing on the main roads.
Wednesday for the third day department heads from South Bend met to re-work their plan of action to battle the storm.
A total of 60 trucks have been on the road, with all of the South Bend departments working together to clear the streets.
Still many sidewalks aren't clear and many people were walking in the street.
Plus several people were stranded or needing a push after getting stuck in the snow.
“I was trying to make it to the bank, to see if I had any money,” says Charles Buggs. He got stuck in the snow and ended up needing a push.
Until 4 p.m. Wednesday St. Joseph County was under a snow emergency meaning travel was not recommended.
